Set on a working farm, Furneaux Distillery offers a rare opportunity to witness every step of the whisky journey, from grain to glass. Stroll through the barley fields where locally grown grain forms the foundation of our single malt whisky. Explore our production facility, where tradition meets innovation to create spirits of exceptional quality.

Designed by Ha Architecture, our tasting room provides a warm and welcoming space to sample our award-winning single malts, each one shaped by the rugged beauty of Flinders Island. Step outside onto the deck with a G&T in hand and take in the breath-taking views of Mt Strzelecki and the Furneaux Islands.

Just beyond, our bond store holds the future of Furneaux whisky, where barrels rest and mature under the influence of the island’s wild coastal climate. The scent of peat smoke drifts across the paddock, making Flinders Island feel like the antipodean Islay -because here, we peat our whisky on-site, capturing the true essence of the land.
