Our local builders have been working against some pretty rough conditions. As the relentless westerlies batter the work site in unprecedented winter weather, they are heroically charging ahead, and we are now starting to see the dream take shape.

With a lot of help from some experienced Flinders Island farmers, we are starting to realise our dream of creating a true paddock-to-bottle whisky. This is no mean feat, but we feel like it is important, especially considering our remote location to work towards total self-sufficiency.

VINTAGE CASKS & COASTAL COOPERS

We were over the moon when the team at Campbells Wines said we could take a selection of their quality ex-solera muscat casks home with us. A truck came to pick them up in Rutherglen and then they were onto a barge with a mob of cattle, across the Bass Strait to make their way to the Furneaux Farm at Sawyers Bay.
