A taste that’s defined by its raw and untouched surrounds. Peat foraged from eastern lagoons, rainwater collected from the stillhouse roof, barrels lined up on an earthen floor in a coastal bond store hidden on the Furneaux Farm. A true maritime peated whisky from the middle of Bass Strait.

Island peat is not like others. Coastal lagoons sitting right behind the dunes are full of tea tree, melaleucas, tussocks, succulent saltmarsh herbs. The flavour from our peat is earthy, salty and unlike any other peated whisky we’ve tasted.
